Welcome

Welcome to St. Francis Xavier Parish. I hope you find St. Francis a place that will bring you closer to Jesus and your relationship with God. We are located on beautiful Lake DuBay. As beautiful as it is outside, it’s not what is outside, but what we are doing inside that will excite you. We are a small rural parish, but we are spiritually alive and we have more happening than many large parishes. We invite you to come and join us.

We gather each week to receive our Lord in Holy Communion and we are called, as disciples, to spread His Word through our faith and actions. We gather to have our sins forgiven in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. We gather to laugh and play. We gather to pray. We gather for Youth Ministry. We gather to have our children baptized as they are incorporated in the Body of Christ-the Church. We gather to invite the fullness of the Holy Spirt in our young adults in the the Sacrament of Conformation. We gather to unite two as one in the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony. We gather to socialize. We gather to anoint those in our community who are in need of healing. We gather to meet and discuss in our Bible Studies. The point is that we gather. Why? We are rooted in faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our parish mission testifies to this–As disciples of Jesus Christ, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Scripture, and the Roman Catholic Church, we, the community of St. Francis Xavier Parish, celebrate the Sacraments, worship, educate, evangelize, and serve the needs of others.

I pray that each member of the parish grows in love for the Lord Jesus and strives to be the best Christian and that we all pray and live our faith and the ultimately, one day, we can gather as a family once again the eternal home in heaven.

We are always looking for ways to help you to know the Lord and to fill your spiritual needs. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to let me know.

Again, welcome to St. Francis. I look forward to getting together with you. If you’d like to meet, pray or have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me, at the above email address or contact the parish office at 693-3120.

Sincerely in Christ,
Fr. Jim Trempe-
